G'day from Byron Bay, I hope this gets thru as we over here try to stumble our way thru the Dutch language. Our struggles are tiny compared to those that you must be going thru. My thoughts are with you all especially when I recall that magnificent day in late June when the Marsman and Clark families became united as one. I can tell you that the Clarks on this side of the world are doing the hard yards with you. As an honorary Clark (I've had my thongs pinched AND taken Jim fishing) my thoughts are with Mieke and yourself. You are the two that are carrying the biggest load on your minds and all I can ask that you remember the support and love that exists over here when that load seems unbearable. Henk and Lien can also be sure that the same thoughts go out to them and I hope that you all can be comforted by that. Now that Spring and the glory of new life is about to burst into 2006 for you, I hope that this surrounding rejuvenation has some positive effects of young Finn. In Spring, new life, new hope. We're getting ready for winter here although the Cyclones are running riot up north and in the west so they're not done yet. We had our first sou'westerly yesterday morning so that's a sign that Easter, ANZAC Day and the mullet crew are near. I'd better go now in case this is too long for the system. You can thank Sharon for that she found a way to translate the Dutch language.It was good to read all about Finn. We loved the photos of your beautiful boy.We are thinking of you all constantly and have been
relying on Mum's phone calls for daily updates. Michael, I personally
have found it difficult to phone as well as I struggle to find the right
words and I'm sure you don't need to go through Finnn's situation
ll the time. However you can be assured that you and your family are
always in our thoughts and prayers.You and Meike have showed so much courage and strength throughout Finn's ordeal and I can only describe that as unconditional parental love.We would love nothing more than to be able to be with you and we have made a commitment to come over
in 2007. Adam (11)& shelley( almost 9) are also beautiful children and are
growing up fast. They are both very aware of Finn's situation and are so looking forward to seeing their Dutch cousins.Give both Finn and Liam a hug for us and don't ever forget to tell them about their other family down under.Bye for now All our love and support Greg, Trudi,Adam & Shelley... illness is very sad and we feel your pain with you. Life is sure not fair

Ik ben nu weer thuis en naar school. Maar ik heb het wel steeds over jou. Dan vraag ik aan mama waar Finn is. Toen ik vrijdag opgenomen werd en weer wakker was van de dormicum vroeg ik ook aan mama of Finn ook in het ziekenhuis was. Tijdens de laatste drie opnames van mij was jij er elke keer. Jammer dat je telkens niet naar huis kunt en zo ziek bent.
Heel veel lieve kusjes van Merel, je buurvrouw.
Merel, 9 jaar, moeilijk instelbare epilepsie en verstandelijke handicap.... Collapse

Lieve famile, Nog geen week heeft het zo mogen zijn dat Finn thuis was. Geen geniet-week helaas, want 't was heel zwaar en de neerwaardse spiraal zette weer razendsnel in. Sinds gisteren is jullie kleine mannetje dus weer terug in... Read more

Nog geen week heeft het zo mogen zijn dat Finn thuis was. Geen geniet-week helaas, want 't was heel zwaar en de neerwaardse spiraal zette weer razendsnel in. Sinds gisteren is jullie kleine mannetje dus weer terug in het ziekenhuis. De welkom thuis post was nog amper geopend. Zo oneerlijk! Het is om moedeloos van te worden. Ik hoop zo ontzettend dat 't tij nu eindelijk eens zal keren en dat jullie niet weer een ellenlange zware ziekenhuistijd tegemoet gaan. Woorden van troost zijn er niet, daar is dit te verdrietig voor. Woorden van hoop wil ik wel meegeven: geef niet op, hou vol, eens moet het lot dit onschuldige kind toch gunstiger gezind worden!
Liefs voor jullie allemaal van soma, Demy en de 3 mini-mussen... Collapse

heel sterk van jullie, nu de beslissing te nemen dat finn naar huis komt. het zal "wennen" zijn maar ook fijn om in jullie warme vertrouwde omgeving te zijn samen met liam, voor hem toch ook heerlijk z'n broer thuis... Read more
